About
Thanks for dropping by and visiting. It’s been a long, wild ride to get to where I am today. I update this site as time allows, since I work full time and attend grad school part time. This eats up most of my “recreational” time.
My name is Sara Mooney, technology geek, and for the past year I’m a resident of Las Vegas, NV. Florida was my home for nine years (!) where I was lucky to meet many wonderful people that completely outweigh all the stupid tourists who paid my salary. I work as a Technical Documentalist (think knowledge management/librarian/researcher) for a large theatre show. I’m also attending Florida State University online for my master’s degree in Information Studies. My passions lay in new media and metadata. I’d like to continue researching how those areas affect knowledge management and corporate/public/academic libraries. I’m a member of the American Library Association, Nevada Library Association, and Special Libraries Association. In my free time, I like to write, paint, and hike. Currently I’m playing the waiting game to see my dreams realized. Good thing I have a lot of patience!
