Why, in this world of customization and individuality and specialty services, are shoe manufacturers forgoing half sizes? Bring on the custom shoe, but sorry — we don’t carry an 8.5. Only whole sizes.

I’m looking through HigherEd.com’s 2007/2008 CUPA-HR Salary Surveys. In particular, the Mid-Level Median Salaries. A few things stands out: On average, a catalog librarian earns less with a Master’s degree than with a Baccalaureate degree. And a Reference & Instructor librarian earns less than $2000 between the two. [...]
